I’m always so excited when I get to try something a little different, and it’s so rewarding when I get to work with someone a little older who follows directions! Rob was great and we had a great time capturing a variety of personality traits through different poses and outfits. Best of luck for your senior year and for your college applications! — at Marsh Creek State Park.
The ultimate in compliments? When an 18-year-old chooses to wear a scarf you gave her for a photo shoot she has entrusted to you. I felt very honored to do this senior portrait session for my girl Tara! I love how this series shows both her beauty and talents as well as the beauty of the surrounding area.
Many thanks to my friend Sue who contacted me to do this shoot for her friends. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, the whole family was so photogenic, and we were able to capture tons of memorable moments! I also felt totally spoiled that there weren’t any crying babies or toddlers running away from me! Another benefit of this shoot is that we were able to kill two birds with one stone. Marissa, the middle daughter, is a high school senior this year, so we took a few shots for her senior portraits as well.
Ryan was a good sport and I had fun doing my first senior portrait session! I’m used to parents bribing their toddlers with cupcakes and candy during my sessions, so I couldn’t help but laugh when I found out Ryan’s mom bribed him with a tank of gas in exchange for getting these shots. She also mentioned that he has always torn up every set of school pictures before bringing them home, so the pressure was on!… Hope you like these, Ryan!
